بِسْمِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ‎

އިންޑިއާއިން ދިވެހިރާއްޖެއަށް ކަނޑައަޅުއްވާފައި ހުންނަވާ ސަފީރު، ހިޒް އެކްސެލެންސީ މުނޫ މަހާވަރު، ރައްޔިތުންގެ މަޖިލީހުގެ ރައީސް، ރައީސް މުޙައްމަދު ނަޝީދު، އުއްތަމަ ފަނޑިޔާރު އޮނަރަބްލް އަލްއުސްތާޛު އަޙްމަދު މުޢްތަޞިމް ޢަދުނާން، މިނިސްޓަރ އޮފް ފޮރިން އެފެއާޒް، ނިޝާން ޢިއްޒުއްދީންގެ ޢިއްޒަތުގެ ވެރިޔާ ޢަބްދުﷲ ޝާހިދު، ދައުލަތުގެ ވަޒީރުން، ރައްޔިތުންގެ މަޖިލީހުގެ ޢިއްޒަތްތެރި މެންބަރުން، ހާޒިރުވެވަޑައިގެން ތިއްބެވި އެންމެހައި ބޭފުޅުން؛

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُه.

އަޅުގަނޑުމެންގެ ގާތް އަވަށްޓެރި އިންޑިއާގެ މި ތާރީޚީ މުނާސަބާ ފާހަގަކުރުމަށް ބާއްވާ ޙަފްލާގައި ބައިވެރިވުމަކީ އަޅުގަނޑަށް ލިބޭ ވަރަށް ބޮޑު އުފަލެއް. އިންޑިޔާގެ 74 ވަނަ ޖުމްހޫރީ ދުވަސް ފާހަގަކުރާއިރު، ދިވެހި ސަރުކާރާއި ރައްޔިތުންގެ ނަމުގައި އިންޑިޔާގެ ރައީސް، ހަރ އެކްސެލެންސީ ދްރައުޕަދީ މުރްމޫއަށާއި، ބޮޑުވަޒީރު ނަރެންދުރަ މޯދީއަށް، ވަރަށް އިޚްލާޞްތެރިކަމާއެކު ތަހުނިޔާ އާއި މުބާރަކްބާދީ އަރިސްކުރަން. އަދި އިންޑިޔާގެ ރަޙްމަތްތެރި ރައްޔިތުންނަށް ދުވަހުގެ ހެޔޮއެދުންތައް ފޮނުވަން.

ވޭތުވެދިޔަ އަހަރުތަކުގައި އިންޑިއާއިން ވަނީ އެ ޤައުމުގެ ކުރިއެރުމަށާއި ތަރައްޤީ އަދި ހަމަޖެހުމަށް އެ ޤައުމުން ކަޑައްތުކުރި ދަތުރު ސާބިތުކަމާއި ވިލުންތެރިކަމާއެކު ދައްކުވައިދީފައި. އިންޑިޔާއަކީ ދުސްތޫރީ ވެރިކަން ވަރަށް ރަނގަޅަށް ދަމަހައްޓަމުން އަންނަ ޤައުމެއް. އިންޑިއާގެ ޤާނޫނުއަސާސީން ވަނީ އެ ޤައުމުގެ ސިޔާދަތު ކަށަވަރުކޮށްދީފައި. އަދި އެ ޤައުމުގެ ރައްޔިތުންގެ މެދުގައިވާ ތަފާތުތަކާ އެކުގައިވެސް، ޤައުމުގެ އެއްބައިވަންތަކަން ކަށަވަރުކޮށްދީ، ހުރިހާ ރައްޔިތުންގެ ޙައްޤުތައް އެ ޤާނޫނުއަސާސީން ޙިމާޔަތްކޮށްދޭ.

އިންޑިޔާގެ އެންމެހައި ކަންކޮޅުތަކެއްގައި، ޢަދުލުވެރި އަދި ޝާމިލް ތަރައްޤީ ފެތުރުމުގެ ބާރު ލިބިދެނީވެސް ހަމަ އެ ޤައުމުގެ ޤާނޫނުއަސާސީން. އިންޑިޔާގެ ވެރިންގެ ހަރުދަނާ ސިޔާސަތުތަކުގެ ސަބަބުން، އެ ޤައުމުގެ ރައްޔިތުން ބާރުވެރިވަނީވެސް ހަމަ އެ ޤާނޫނުއަސާސީގެ ޒަރީޢާއިން. މުޖުތަމަޢުގައި ނަމޫނާ ހަމަހަމަކަމެއް ޤާއިމުކުރުމަށް މަސައްކަތް ކުރެވިދާނެކަން، އިންޑިއާއިން މިހާރުވެސް އަންނަނީ ދުނިޔެއަށް ދައްކަމުން.

ކުރިއަށް އޮތް 25 އަހަރުގެ ތެރޭގައި، ދުނިޔޭގެ ދެވަނައަށް އެންމެ ބޮޑު އިޤްތިޞާދަށް ވުމަށް އިންޑިއާ އަމާޒު ހިފާފައިވާއިރު، އިޤްތިޞާދީ ގޮތުން އިންޑިއާ ޙާޞިލުކޮށްފައިވާ ކާމިޔާބީތަކަށް މުޅި ދުނިޔެ އަންނަނީ ތަރުހީބުދެމުން. ހަމައެފަދައިން، އެއްބައިވަންތަކަން ކުރިއެރުވުމުގައި އިންޑިޔާއިން ގެންގުޅޭ އުޞޫލުތަކުން އަޅުގަނޑުމެންނަށްވެސް ވަރަށް ބޮޑު ހިތްވަރެއް ލިބޭ.

އިންޑިއާއިން އެ ނަމޫނާ ދައްކަނީ ހަމައެކަނި އެ ޤައުމަކު ނޫން. ބައިނަލްއަޤްވާމީ އެކިއެކި މައިދާންތަކުގައިވެސް އިންޑިއާއިން އަންނަނީ ނަމޫނާ ދައްކަމުން. ވަކިން ޚާއްޞަކޮށް، އަވަށްޓެރި ޤައުމުތަކަށް ދޭ އަހައްމިއްޔަތުގެ ސަބަބުން "ވަން އާރތު، ވަން ފެމިލީ އެންޑް ވަން ފިއުޗަރ"ގެ ޝިޢާރު ޙަޤީޤަތަކަށް ހެދުމަށް އެންމެން ގުޅިގެން މަސައްކަތް ކުރުމުގެ އުންމީދު އާލާވެގެންދޭ. އަދި އެކަމަށް މަސައްކަތް ކުރުމަކީ އިތުރަށް ބޭނުންވެފައިވާ ކަމެއްކަން ޤަބޫލުކުރެވޭ.

ޖީ-20 ގެ ރިޔާސަތު އިންޑިއާއިން ބަލަހައްޓަމުން އަންނައިރު، އިންޑިއާއިން ދުނިޔޭގެ އެހެން ޤައުމުތަކަށް ނަމޫނާ ދައްކާނެ ކަމުގެ ފުރިހަމަ ޔަޤީންކަން އަޅުގަނޑުމެންނަށް އެބައޮތް.

Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am honored to be here today to celebrate India's 74th Republic Day. On behalf of the people of Maldives, I extend my warmest greetings and felicitations to the President of India, Her Excellency Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the friendly people of India.

India’s enduring adherence to constitutionalism serves as a shining example for young democracies such as Maldives and is a fine example of the vision and foresight of the framers of India’s constitution. Over the years, India has demonstrated resilience, commitment, and steadfastness in its journey towards progress, development, and stability. Its constitution, which guarantees sovereignty and safeguards the rights of all, has played a crucial role in its success.

The ethos of inclusiveness and equitable development in India is a fine demonstration of the strength of its constitution and the policies of its leadership. India continues to set an example to the world that it is possible to achieve unity through diversity, that a nation can strive towards a harmonious society while not compromising on its development imperatives. These are values that we Maldives also hold dear.

Maldives and India share a special partnership built on mutual trust and respect. India's "Neighborhood First Policy" and our own “India First” policy is evident in this relationship, which has stood the test of time. Ours is a relationship that goes back eons, and I am confident it will grow stronger in the coming years. This ancient relationship, I’m happy to note, had found renewed impetus during these past four years where India has been our most trusted and valued friend during some of the most challenging of circumstances. I note its massive contributions to our development efforts and its help in our Covid response as significant highlights of this special relationship.

I also take this opportunity to highlight, the numerous efforts made by High Commissioner Munu Mahawar and his team at the Indian High Commission to strengthen the bonds of friendship between our two nations.

I am confident that this new year will open further new avenues and opportunities for us to take our relations even further for the mutual benefit of our respective peoples.

މި އުފާވެރި މުނާސަބަތުގައި އަދިވެސް އެއްފަހަރު ތަހުނިޔާ އަރިސްކުރަމުން، ދެ ޤައުމުގެ ގުޅުން އިތުރަށް ބަދަހިކުރެއްވުމަށް އިންޑިޔާގެ ބޮޑުވަޒީރު ނަރެންދުރަ މޯދީ ދެއްވާ އެއްބާރުލެއްވުމަށްޓަކައި، އެމަނިކުފާނަށް ވަރަށް އިޚްލާޞްތެރިކަމާއެކު އަޅުގަނޑު ޝުކުރު ދަންނަވަން. އަދި ރާއްޖޭގައި ދިރިއުޅޭ އިންޑިޔާގެ ރައްޔިތުންނަށް ވެސް ވަރަށް އިޚްލާޞްތެރިކަމާއެކު ހެޔޮއެދުންތައް އަރިސްކުރަން. އިންޑިޔާގެ ރައްޔިތުންނަށް އަމަންއަމާންކަމާއި ކުރިއެރުމާއި ފާގަތިކަމަށް އަޅުގަނޑުމެން އެދެން.
