President Mohamed Nasheed has met with the Japanese Ambassador Kunio Takahashi.
At the meeting held today at the President’s Office, the President informed Ambassador Takahashi on the government’s economic developmental plans and the Tax Bills currently on the parliament floor.
President Nasheed also expressed his gratitude to the Japanese government for their continuous assistance to the Maldives, especially for educational development and national development.
The meeting was attended by Special Envoy of the President Ibrahim Hussain Zaki, Foreign Policy Advisor to the President Doctor Ahmed Shaheed and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Naseem.
