His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu attended the launch of MIFCO products in Colombo, Sri Lanka today.
The event featured the unveiling of MIFCO products and a cultural 'Malaafaiy' prepared with them, marking the expansion of its value-added fisheries product line.
Honourable Wasantha Samarasinghe, MP, Minister of Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Cooperative Development of Sri Lanka, also attended and delivered remarks on the initiative's significance for the Strategic Trade Partnership between the two countries.
The President visited the culinary showcase area, inspected the products distributed under the brand, and sampled some of the dishes prepared.
The event was held on the sidelines of the President's ongoing State Visit to Sri Lanka.
