President appoints new vice president of Human Rights Commission of the Maldives

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Mohamed Shafeeg Mahmood as the Vice President of the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives.

Mohamed Shafeeg Mahmood was appointed to this position in accordance with section 8 of the Human Rights Commission Act (Law No. 6/2006).
