Chief Spokesperson at the President's Office, Heena Waleed, has assured that the Rasmale Project will be a reality, as President Dr Mohamed Muizzu pledged. She made these remarks during a press conference held at the President's Office on Wednesday. The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, also joined the press conference.
In response to a question from a journalist at the press conference, Heena stated that one of the President's primary commitments is to provide adequate housing for everyone. She noted that the President had stressed on the inclusion of the Rasmale project in this year's budget. However, she noted that when the budget was passed for the year, the previous Parliament did not allocate funds for the project, thus hindering its implementation. Heena emphasised that the President had previously announced plans to construct 30 thousand housing units in Rasmale' to address the housing needs of the community.

At the press conference held on Wednesday afternoon, the Minister Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, briefed on significant initiatives being undertaken by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs in related areas.
