President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has this evening visited the art exhibition ‘Lionfish and the Plastic Bag.’ The exhibition, featuring paintings and drawings by Eagan Badeeu, is held from 7-11 December at the National Art Gallery.
During the visit, the President inspected the contemporary artworks on show at the exhibition. The exhibition features a total of 30 paintings, of which 11 were done with watercolour and plastic. The theme of the exhibition depicts the natural beauty of the ocean and the scourge of plastic pollution to marine life.
