President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has inaugurated the habour in Nolhivaranfaru Island, South Thiladummadulu Atoll.
During the ceremony the President unveiled the monuments placed to inaugurate the island’s harbor.
The Nolhivaranfaru Island’s harbour is 700 feet long and 250 feet wide.
During this visit, the President is also scheduled to attend the ceremony held in Kulhudhuffushi to mark the completion of the island’s road development project, and shore protection project.
