President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has attended the ceremony to mark the completion of beach protection project in Bileffahi Island.
During the ceremony the President unveiled the monument placed to mark the completion of this project.
During his two day tour, the President will inaugurate the harbour at Kanditheemu Island, take part in the ceremony to mark the completion of the airport land reclamation and the commencement of the runway project in Funadhoo Island. The President will also inaugurate the sewerage system in Milandhoo Island.
