President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has stated that this administration is working on bringing an all-inclusive development to the Maldives where nobody is left out.  He made this remark while speaking at the function held this morning to inaugurate the harbour of Thulusdhoo Island. 

Speaking at the event, the President emphasized the important role of the youth in deciding the nation’s matters. He further stated that the youth population should know that hard work is the key to the development we see in Maldives today. He also advised the youth population to take lessons from it.
Moreover, speaking in this regard the President stated that the hope of Maldivians has been revived as a result of the efforts of this administration during the past 4 years, and noted with appreciation that today all Maldivians recognize the work being done by this administration. Furthermore the President assured the public that his administration will strive to achieve and fulfill the needs of the people in the future as well.

Shedding light on the developmental projects, President Yameen stated that these ventures will not be projected to a certain area of the population and that it will be reflected on the whole country. Furthermore, the President urged the public to bring forth national harmony, and not one’s own agenda, and to instill peace in the country while pressing for progress.

Along with the President, members of the cabinet, some members of the parliament and a large number of the public were in attendance at today’s function.

The President is currently on a one day visit to 3 Islands of Male’ Atoll. As part of his visit President Yameen has inaugurated the harbour of Thulusdhoo Island, and will take part in the ceremony to mark the completion of the beach protection project in Maafushi Island. The President will later travel to Guraidhoo Island and inaugurate the island’s harbour and clean drinking water services.
