President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, Dr José Ramos-Horta is scheduled to arrive in the Maldives on 13 February, on a state visit. He will be received at Malé International Airport by President Mohamed Nasheed and other state dignitaries.
During his visit to the Maldives, President Ramos-Horta will meet the President to discuss bilateral ties between the two countries. The President will host a luncheon in honour of the visiting President.
A visa-waiver agreement and an agreement on cultural cooperation will also be signed between the two countries.
The two leaders will also hold a press conference at the President’s Office.
