President Dr Mohamed Waheed has today appointed Uz Aishath Azima Shakoor as the Minister of Gender, Family and Human Rights, and Mr Ameen Ibrahim as the Minister of Transport and Communication, and Uza Aishath Bisam as the Attorney General. The appointment ceremony was held this afternoon at the President’s Office.
The two ministers and the Attorney General took their oath of Office before the Supreme Court Judge Abdulla Areef.
Uza Aishath Azima Shakoor has been serving as the Attorney General, and Uza Aishath Bisam as Deputy Attorney General.
