Vice President Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef met with the HDh. Nolhivaranfaru Island Council to discuss key matters relating to the island's development. The meeting was held this morning at the President's Office.

During the meeting, Council members outlined the island's most pressing development needs and challenges. They highlighted the need for the road development and new school building projects to begin at the earliest opportunity, and for the football and futsal grounds to be upgraded, alongside wider improvements to sports facilities. The Council also requested the upgrading of the island's harbour, the expediting of work on the Police Station, and improved services at the Health Centre.

The Vice President assured Council members that he would raise the matters with the relevant Government authorities and follow up closely on their progress.
