Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Economic Development of Mauritius, Xavier Luc Duval paid a courtesy call on President Dr Mohamed Waheed. The meeting was held this morning at the President’s Office.
The President and the Vice Prime Minister discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and expressed hopes of further strengthening these relations, especially by increasing of investments in the areas of fisheries, tourism and aviation industries.
The President briefed the Vice Prime Minister on the current political status of the country and on the presidential election to be held this year.
