President Dr Mohamed Waheed and First Lady Madam Ilham Hussain arrived back in Male’ this morning, on conclusion of their visit to Dubai.
The President made this trip to attend the World Energy Forum.
Speaking at the forum, the President emphasised on the importance of a sound energy policy for sustainable development, for small island nations like the Maldives. He further reiterated the Maldives’ commitment toward achieving a low carbon economy.
