Director General of the OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID), Suleiman J. Al-Herbish has paid a courtesy call on President Dr Mohamed Waheed today.
At the meeting held at the President Office, the President noted that a high number of resorts were now changing over to eco-friendlier ways of operation, and briefed the OFID Director General on the government’s plans to adopt to renewable energy.
The OFID Director General highlighted the organisation’s commitment to the use of renewable energy and environmental issues. Further, the Director General briefed the President on the various projects being carried out by the OFID.
