President Dr Mohamed Waheed has today signed the Book of Condolence of Late Dr Afrasheem Ali, Parliament Member for the Raa Ungoofaaru region.
In his message, President Waheed highlighted the invaluable services Dr Afrasheem Ali provided to the country, as a member of the parliament, and as a religious scholar.
The President concluded his message by praying Almighty Allah to grant Late Dr Afrasheem Ali’s soul the eternal blessings, and give patience and strength to his family at this time of bereavement.
Dr Afrasheem Ali was killed in a stab attack in the early hours of 2 October.
