As part of his tour to North Thiladhunmathi atoll, President Mohamed Nasheed has this afternoon visited Maarandhoo and met with the people.
Addressing the people of Maarandhoo, the President spoke on the importance of easy transport links between the islands in the area, for the development of the island.
Continuing in this regard, the President said islands of North Thiladhunmathi would be linked by the transport network within the next two months.
President Nasheed further said the government was aiming for self-sufficiency, increasing people’s disposable income and maintaining price stability.
