President Dr Mohamed Waheed will today host a state luncheon in honour of Palestinian President Dr Mahmoud Abbas. The state luncheon will be held this afternoon at Kurumba Maldives. First Lady Madam Ilham Hussain will also participate in the luncheon.
Among the invitees to the state luncheon include, former President Maumoon Abddul Gayoom and his wife Nasreena Ibrahim, as well as former President Mohamed Nasheed and his wife Laila Ali.
Other invitees include, Speaker of the People’s Majlis, Chief Justice, cabinet ministers, state dignitaries, leaders of political parties and foreign diplomats in the country.
