President Dr Mohamed Waheed has today appointed State Ministers at seven ministries. The ceremony of handing over the Letter of Appointment was held this afternoon at The President's Office.

Following are the newly appointed State Ministers:

1. Imad Solih as the Minister of State for Education
2. Fuad Qasim as the Minister of State for Fisheries and Agriculture
3. Ahmed Shameem as the Minister of State for Tourism, Arts and Culture
4. Uza. Mariyam Mizna Shareef as the Minister of State for Tourism, Arts and Culture
5. Abdulla Ameen as the Minister of State for Economic Development
6. Mohamed Ghassaan Maumoon as the Minister of State for Human Resources, Youth and Sports
7. Sheikh Mohamed Didi as the Minister of State for Islamic Affairs

Speaking at the ceremony, President Waheed expressed his confidence that all the appointees would perform their duties to their maximum capacity.
