President Dr Mohamed Waheed today met with the Auditor General Niyaz Ibrahim and the President of the Anti-Corruption Commission Hassan Luthfi. The meeting was held this morning at the President’s Office.
Speaking at the meeting, the President assured that the government would give its full cooperation to the two intuitions and also that the government would not interfere in their work.
The Auditor General and the President of the ACC briefed the President on the difficulties that their respective institutions face in carrying out their duties.
