New Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands accredited to the Maldives, Ludovicus Wilhelmus Maria Piet has presented his letter of credence to President Mohamed Nasheed today at a ceremony held this afternoon at the President’s Office.
During the talk following the presentation of the credentials, the President and the Ambassador discussed existing bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
President Nasheed also highlighted the economic reform measures taken in the Maldives, and noted the high success rate of its strategies; especially the introduction of tax system in the Maldives.
