Vice President Dr. Mohamed Waheed has said that it is very important to facilitate school children through their school systems, the chance to develope their artistic abilities. The Vice President made this remark speaking at the awarding ceremony of “My Dream Home” children’s art competition, organised by Sunfront Pvt. Ltd.
Speaking at the ceremony held last evening at Nasandhura Palace Hotel, Vice President Dr. Waheed noted that neglecting to give children the chance at creativity would prevent the development of very important skills they have.
In his speech, the Vice President expressed his thanks to the management of Sunfront Pvt. Ltd. for organising the art competition for children. Noting the high number of participants of the competition, the Vice President congratulated everyone at the ceremony.
Nausheen Ahmed Nashid of Thaajuddeen School won the first prize of the art competition.
