CHOGM 2011 Begins in Perth

The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) has begun in Perth of Australia this morning.

CHOGM is held every two years, where discussions are held on global and Commonwealth issues. This year’s CHOGM will end on 30th October.

President Mohamed Nasheed met with the local media, prior to his departure to attend CHOGM. He highlighted the opportunity of dialogues with a number of heads of governments, during this visit to Australia.
