President Mohamed Nasheed has appointed Mr Ahmed Naseem as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Uz Abdulla Muizzu as the Attorney General today.
Speaking after the presentation of their Letters of Appointment, the President said he had utmost confidence in their ability to discharge their duties in their new posts. The President also expressed his confidence of the People’s Majlis endorsing Mr Naseem and Uz Muizzu as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Attorney General respectively.
Before the presentation of Letters of Appointment, High Court Judge Sheikh Yoosuf Hussain administered their oaths of office.
