President Inaugurates the Maldives National University and Appoints Dr Musthafa Luthfee as the Chancellor

President Mohamed Nasheed has today inaugurated the Maldives National University and appointed Dr Musthafa Luthfee as the Chancellor of the University.

The President presented the Letter of Appointment as the Chancellor of the Maldives National University to Dr Luthfee at the inauguration ceremony held at Dharubaaruge this morning. The President also granted the custody of the seal of the Maldives National University to Chancellor Dr Luthfee.

At the ceremony, President Nasheed also presented the decree on the establishment of the Maldives National University to Minister of Education Sifa Mohamed.
