President Dr Mohamed Muizzu graced the fifth session of the High Achievers’ Award 2025 ceremony this evening.
The ceremony was held at the Centre for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) in Hulhumalé.
Awards were presented to students who achieved the highest marks nationwide in individual subjects in the secondary and higher secondary examinations. Honours were also conferred on recipients of the High Achievement Award for secondary education, the Outstanding Pearson Learner Award for the secondary examinations, the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award for the higher secondary examinations, and the High Achievers’ Scholarship. President Dr Muizzu presented awards to students receiving the highest honours.
Upon his arrival, the President was welcomed with an honour guard, and students presented him with a commemorative gift.
Expanding access to education and higher learning, while nurturing a generation of academically and technically skilled young people, remains a key pillar of the Government’s long-term vision for national development.
