First press briefing held under 'Presser with the Spox' series

Chief Government Spokesperson Mohamed Hussain Shareef held the inaugural press briefing of the 'Presser with the Spox' series this afternoon at Television Maldives (TVM).

'Presser with the Spox' is a series held every Thursday for approximately 55 minutes, aimed at providing easy access to information on the Government's ongoing work, addressing media queries, and offering journalists direct responses to their questions.

During the session, the Spokesperson shared details of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu's upcoming state visit to Sri Lanka from 3 to 6 May 2026, at the invitation of President Anura Kumara Disanayaka. He also responded to questions from the press.

The Chief Government Spokesperson's official Instagram and TikTok accounts, aimed at expanding the Government's reach, were also unveiled under the handle 'The Feed MV'.
