President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed departed this morning on a one-day visit to Dhuvaafaru, North Maalhosmadulu.
Several new development projects are scheduled to be launched during the visit, alongside ceremonies marking the completion of a number of projects on the island.
President Dr Muizzu will also participate in various activities planned in Dhuvaafaru to commemorate Fishermen’s Day, including the official ceremony scheduled for this evening.
The President is accompanied on the visit by several Cabinet Ministers and senior officials from key Government institutions.
