Vice President Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef has attended the closing ceremony of the Raaveriyaa Volley Tournament 2025 as the guest of honour.
The Vice President met with the men’s and women’s finalists prior to watching the thrilling final matches. Bonbon Sports Club faced Gemanafushi Volley Club in the finals, emerging victorius in two straight sets. In the men’s final, Top Brothers Sports Club claimed victory against Gemanafushi Volley Club with a final score of 3-2.
Following the matches, the Vice President presented medals, trophies, and cash prizes to the winners of the women’s division.
The first edition of the Raaveriyaa Volley Tournament was held in 2022, organised by the Nilandhoo Council, and has since become an annual event.
