President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has returned to Malé after completing a two-day visit to Fuvahmulah City and Addu.
During the visit, the President met with City Councils and Women’s Development Committees (WDCs) from both cities, engaging directly with residents to hear their concerns and gather insights on local development priorities.
In Fuvahmulah City, work commenced across key sectors including education, healthcare, housing, and transport. Similarly, in Addu, projects are progressing in areas such as sports and fitness, education, healthcare, urban development, community wellbeing, and transport.
As part of the trip, President Dr Muizzu inaugurated the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) Air Corps’ first air station in Gan, Addu.
A high-level delegation of Cabinet Ministers and senior Government officials accompanied the President, providing the public with updates on ongoing and upcoming national development projects throughout the visit.
