President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with members of the ADh. Fenfushi Island Council, the Women’s Development Committee, and heads of local institutions to discuss the island’s key development priorities. The meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Fenfushi Council.

During the meeting, council members highlighted the most pressing needs of the island’s residents. They called for the expediting of the water and sewage project and noted challenges in transitioning the school to a single session due to delays in constructing four additional classrooms. The members also proposed including a funeral house in the plan for the mosque currently under development.

President Dr Muizzu assured participants that the Government would give due consideration to their concerns. He was accompanied by Cabinet ministers and senior officials from State-Owned Enterprises, who also provided updates on ongoing development projects.
