Chief Executive of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), His Excellency Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Murshid (O.D.R.M.D), paid a courtesy call on His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu this morning at the President’s Office.
During the meeting, the President conveyed his gratitude to Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Murshid for accepting the Order of the Dignified Rule of Muleege Dynasty (O.D.R.M.D), an honour presented in recognition of his exceptional leadership and the Saudi Fund for Development’s significant contributions to the Maldives’ progress and prosperity. The conferral ceremony was held earlier this morning at the President’s Office.
President Dr Muizzu also highlighted that the support from SFD has been instrumental in the advancement of several key national projects, including the expansion of Velana International Airport and developments in the health and housing sectors.
Both the President and the CEO of SFD expressed strong interest in further strengthening bilateral ties and enhancing collaboration. They reaffirmed their commitment to the timely completion of ongoing projects and emphasised their shared dedication to achieving impactful development outcomes.
Prior to the meeting, Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Murshid signed the guest book at the President's Office.
