President Dr Mohamed Muizzu convened with the South Ariatholhu Atoll Council to address pivotal developmental issues concerning South Ari Atoll. The meeting took place at the Secretariat of the South Ariatholhu Atoll Council.
At the meeting held this morning, council members deliberated on several key topics, including the installation of solar panels at the school and the potential allocation of ADh Lonuboi to generate additional revenue for the council. Council members also discussed the development of healthcare, transport, tourism in the atoll. Furthermore, council members highlighted the shortage of picnic islands and requested government intervention to establish such facilities.
Speaking at the meeting, President Dr Muizzu emphasised the Administration’s commitment to developing transportation services through the Raajje Transport Link (RTL) initiative. He assured the council that the Administration would also address other concerns raised during the meeting.
