President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has departed on a tour of the islands of Alif Alif and Male’ Atoll on Sunday morning.
The President is to visit some islands in the atoll and, time permitting, meet the Island Councils and Women’s Development Committees of the islands, as well at the Atoll Councils of the two atolls.
This is part of a series of tours of the atolls and islands, during which the President will seek to understand developmental needs and prioritise projects.
President Dr Muizzu has set a goal to visit all the islands at least twice during his tenure.
