Vice President Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef has inaugurated Health Expo 2024.

The two-day exposition organised by the Ministry of Health, aims to create public awareness about work carried out by the health sector to build a healthier community, and about adopting a healthy lifestyle.

At the inaugural ceremony held at Hulhumalé Central Park, the Vice President launched a special book named “Hafuthaa 52” which documents work carried out by the health sector during the first year of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s term in office.

After the inaugural function, the Vice President visited the stalls at the Health Expo 2024. This exposition boasts participation of several sector institutions. The 50 stalls see representation from hospitals from the greater Malé region, clinics and relevant civil society representatives. Members of the public are welcome to visit the stalls and gather information.
