President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has stressed that the anticipated development, including infrastructure projects, road building, land reclamation, sanitation initiatives, and economic ventures, will be delivered as per the expectations of the people. He made the remarks while addressing the residential community of Isdhoo and Kalaidhoo Island this evening.
During the meeting, the President mentioned that the residents of Laamu Atoll would be consulted before the decision to construct a second airport in Laamu Atoll. He also stated that development projects would prioritise the Isdhoo-Kalaidhoo constituency.
In his remarks, the President informed the residential community about upcoming development projects in the tourism sector and emphasised the positive impacts these initiatives will have on the community. He noted that these projects will generate job opportunities and boost income levels for the residents.
The President encouraged the public to collaborate with the Government in its efforts for community development. He also pledged to prioritise the realisation of the development goals desired by the people.
Isdhoo and Kalaidhoo are the second destination of the President's visit to some islands in Laamu Atoll.
