President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with the Raiymandhoo Council and Women's Development Committee (WDC) members at the Secretariat of the M. Raiymandhoo School, to discuss their critical developmental needs.
At the meeting, Council Members conveyed concerns about the schooling system, the necessity for water and sanitation infrastructure, and the travel challenges to and from the island. They also urged the inclusion of an additional area under the Council's jurisdiction, the expeditious development of the FENAKA office building, and the prompt repair of the island’s ambulance.
During the discussions, the President explored potential solutions to their challenges and assured to address their concerns. Ministers in attendance provided updates on the Government's ongoing initiatives to resolve the highlighted issues.
