President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with the Dhaalu Rin'budhoo Island Council and the Women's Development Committee (WDC) to discuss the island community's most prominent needs. The meeting was held at the Secretariat of Meedhoo Island Council.
At the meeting, Council Members requested housing solutions and medical laboratory services. They also conveyed the need for a new mosque to be built on the island, and the challenge of space constraints at the school and the Council Secretariat. Council members also emphasised the challenges of providing electricity service on the island.
Speaking at the meeting, the President outlined the Government's plans to provide new buildings to house Council Secretariats nationwide. The President stated that the Administration would examine the issues raised by the members. The Ministers in attendance offered the latest updates on the Government's efforts to resolve the issues raised by the Council.
