President Dr Mohamed Muizzu engaged in discussions with the Fulhadhoo Island Council and Women's Development Committee (WDC) to address issues of developmental significance to its residents. The meeting was held at the Secretariat of Hithaadhoo Island Council today.
During the meeting, Council Members highlighted urgency of resuming previously halted and delayed developmental projects, particularly in the areas of water and sanitation, construction of school classrooms, and mosque projects. Council Members also conveyed the pressing need for upgrades and enhancements in the health sector, resolution of coastal erosion challenges, and the establishment of a comprehensive transportation network.
The President, through his Cabinet Ministers present at the meeting, provided the latest updates on the issues raised by the Council.
