First Lady Sajida Mohamed graced the ceremony held to handover twelve green ambulances donated by the Chinese Government to the Ministry of Health. The event took place this evening at Roashanee Building.
The ambulances handed over today will enhance the provision of medical emergency services to patients during emergencies, disasters, and accidents on the islands. Additionally, it will simplify the delivery of medical treatment on small islands, which can be challenging for larger paramedic ambulances to operate.
During the ceremony, a signing on the handover certificate took place between the Chinese Embassy and the Ministry of Health.
