The President meets with the HDh. Naivaadhoo Island Council and WDC members: Council members brief the President on their developmental needs.

The President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with the HDh. Naivaadhoo Island Council and Women's Development Committee (WDC) members. The meeting was held at Nellaidhoo School.

During the meeting, the Council members expressed concerns regarding the development initiatives and emphasised the need to expedite the projects. They expressed the necessity for a mosque and a police post on the island. Additionally, the Council requested the Administration’s support on their initiative to transition to renewable energy sources.

The Naivaadhoo WDC members underlined budget constraints in conducting their activities.

In response, the President assured the Council members that he would address their concerns. Cabinet Ministers in attendance also provided updates on the Administration's ongoing efforts to resolve the issues.
