President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with the members of the HA. Vashafaru Island Council and the Women's Development Committee (WDC). The meeting was held at the Vashafaru School.
Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef and Cabinet Ministers accompanied the President.
Council members conveyed their most pertinent development needs to the President at the meeting. Expressing gratitude, they acknowledged the government's strong rapport with its citizens. Additionally, the council assured the residents' unwavering cooperation with the Government.
At the meeting, WDC members echoed the Council’s sentiments and conveyed their appreciation to the President for working closely with the people, expressing confidence that the Administration will deliver on its development agenda.
During the meeting, the President emphasised that the people's unwavering support would help the Government serve its citizens effectively. He also committed to achieving the goals highlighted during his meeting with the island's residential community.
