President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the sidelines of the COP28 in Dubai this evening (1 December 2023).
During the meeting, Prime Minister Modi reiterated his congratulations to President Dr Mohamed Muizzu on his assumption of office, two weeks ago.
At the meeting, both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. They also highlighted the importance of development and economic cooperation, people-to-people contacts between the two countries and discussed ways to enhance this, including setting up a high-level committee.
Both leaders discussed ways to promote further cooperation in the area of sports.
