The Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, paid a courtesy call on H.E. President Dr Mohamed Muizzu this evening during a meeting held at the Kurumba Maldives Resort.
During the courtesy call, President Dr Mohamed Muizzu thanked the Minister for participating in the Presidential Inauguration earlier in the evening.
Minister H.E. Mehmet Nuri Ersoy extended greetings, well wishes and congratulations on winning the presidential election to President Dr Mohamed Muizzu. The Minister added that by expanding the number of flights to the Maldives, the Turkish government hopes to fortify partnerships in the tourism, education, and travel industries. He further stated that Turkish investors are willing to make reciprocal investments in the Maldives. The Minister additionally extended an invitation to the President to visit Türkiye.
The President emphasised his commitment to enhancing bilateral ties with Türkiye, noting the similar cultures and beliefs between the two countries.
