President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih visited Hithadhoo Island in Laamu Atoll on Tuesday to commemorate the completion of infrastructure projects initiated by his administration. During his visit, the President inaugurated newly completed facilities and services, including the new FENAKA office and futsal ground. These inaugurations are part of the President's ongoing efforts to enhance infrastructure and services for residents of the atoll.

The recently inaugurated FENAKA office on Hithadhoo Island is a modern facility that can house up to 30 personnel. The newly unveiled futsal ground on Hithadhoo Island, surfaced with turf, boasts top-notch amenities and facilities. Maldives Assure Supply Pvt. Ltd. was commissioned to execute this project. The new futsal ground represents a significant investment in the local community, providing athletes and futsal enthusiasts on Hithadhoo Island with access to state-of-the-art facilities and an unparalleled sporting experience.

Under President Solih's leadership, the administration has achieved significant strides towards equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives.
