President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has hosted Tea with Volunteers. Sixteen volunteers from Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) attended the event hosted at the President’s Official Residence Mulee’aage.

JOCV has been actively engaged in the Maldives since 1982. Over the years, hundreds of volunteers from JOCV have worked side by side with the people of the Maldives and contributed to the socio-economic development of the country.

Speaking at the function, President Solih thanked the volunteers for their contributions to the development of Maldivian communities.

The 'Tea with Volunteers' event held today marks the renewal of an annual tradition which was discontinued over the recent years.
