Vice President Faisal Naseem has attended the reception to celebrate the 89th National Day of Saudi Arabia. The ceremony was held in Kurumba Maldives Resort, this evening.
Vice President Faisal Naseem took part in the celebratory cake cutting ceremony along with officials from the Saudi Embassy and also took part in an anniversary photo session along with other senior state officials and embassy staff.
The Embassy officials also joined the Vice President for the viewing of a presentation in celebration of the anniversary, followed by a special dinner.
Diplomatic relations between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia was established on 17th March 1981.
