Chief Guide, First Lady Fazna Ahmed has advised to always strive to make a difference in the world. The First Lady made this remark while speaking at the inauguration of the 20th National Patrol Leaders Training Camp. The camp is being held at the Educational Training Centre for Children, in Maafushi Island.
In her speech, the First Lady expressed her confidence that the participants will acquire numerous life skills through the camp. She also encouraged the participants to always reflect on one’s deeds.
On arrival at the ceremony, a Guard of Honour was offered to the First Lady, followed by which, the First Lady hoisted the camp’s flag. The First Lady also toured the sub camps and viewed the art display put up by the participants, under the theme “16 Days of Activism”.
The National Patrol Leaders Training Camp is an annual event organised by the Maldives Girl Guide Association.
