President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim have this evening, inaugurated the Fehires Neighbourhood Park and Fahiveni Community Centre, newly established in Hulhumalé.
The Fehires park, developed by Hulhumalé Development Corporation (HDC) as part of its efforts in providing a quality lifestyle for residents of Hulhumalé, provides a playground, an outdoor gym, a volleyball court, a 3 on 3 basketball court, and a water pond.
The Fahiveni Community Centre, aimed at catering to the needs of the youth, includes a badminton court, pool area, a cinema, a café, a gym, and a classroom.
Following the inaugurations, the President and First Lady took a tour of the park and the community centre.
