President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has met with the lead counsels Mr. Michael Bloch QC, and Mr. Kenneth Pereira, of the legal team who represented the Government of Maldives and Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), in the arbitration case against GMR-MAHB Consortium.

At the meeting held at the President’s Office this morning, President Yameen expressed his appreciation to the two experts on behalf of the Government, for their efforts in the arbitration process.

The President was accompanied at the meeting by Attorney General Uz. Mohamed Anil, State Minister at the President’s Office Mr. Mohamed Naseer, Deputy Attorney General Uz. Ahmed Usham, Managing Director of MACL Mr. Adil Moosa, and Board Member of MACL Mr. Ibrahim Mahfooz.
